The Ice Barrell holds 105 gallons of water. The weight is 55 lbs if the barrel is empty which allows you the freedom to move it to different locations. Typically you will have 80 gallons of water in the barrel when in use, which is about 75% full. The weight of the barrel with water in it is 750 lbs and will allow you to keep it outside and not have to worry about winds tipping it over or blowing it away.
On the button of the barrel there is a drain that comes with a secured cap and valve. This allows you to empty the water in the barrel by taking off the cap and opening the valve. It is recommended that you change the water in your barrel every 3 to 4 weeks. The efficient drain on the bottom makes your cleaning process fast and allows you to easily move the barrel if you want.
